# How to make it:
01 - Rinse fresh cranberries under cold water and gently pat dry with a paper towel. Set aside.
02 - In a small saucepan, combine water and 1/2 cup sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves completely and the liquid is clear. Do not allow boiling.
03 - Remove syrup from heat and allow to cool for 2 minutes. Stir in cranberries, ensuring they are evenly coated.
04 - Using a slotted spoon, transfer cranberries to a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Let dry for 45 to 60 minutes until surface is sticky but not wet.
05 - Pour remaining 1/2 cup sugar into a shallow bowl. Roll sticky cranberries in sugar until thoroughly coated.
06 - Return coated cranberries to wire rack and dry for an additional 15 minutes before use.
