- Fresh Fruit: 8 large strawberries, hulled, 2 ripe bananas peeled and sliced into 16 thick rounds
- Additional: 8 large marshmallows, 8 mini marshmallows
- Optional: 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips melted (for eyes), 8 wooden skewers
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Slice bananas into thick rounds Set aside
- Step 2:
- Wash and hull strawberries removing the green tops
- Step 3:
- For each stick thread one banana slice onto a skewer followed by a large marshmallow another banana slice and finally a strawberry (tip up to resemble a Santa hat)
- Step 4:
- Top each strawberry with a mini marshmallow to create the pom-pom of Santas hat
- Step 5:
- (Optional) Use a toothpick to dot on melted dark chocolate for Santas eyes
- Step 6:
- Arrange the finished sticks on a platter and serve immediately
