Crostini with Brie, cranberry sauce, toasted baguette, rosemary, and nuts for a festive appetizer.
# What you need:
→ Bread
01 - 1 French baguette, sliced into 12 rounds (1/2 inch thick)
→ Cheese
02 - 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed if preferred, sliced
→ Topping
03 - 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, homemade or store-bought
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
06 - 1 tablespoon chopped toasted pecans or walnuts (optional)
→ For Serving
07 - Freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
# How to make it:
01 - Set oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Arrange baguette rounds on the prepared baking sheet and toast for 4 to 5 minutes until lightly golden.
03 - Remove toasted slices from oven and place a slice of Brie on each piece.
04 - Return to oven and bake for 2 to 3 minutes until Brie begins to soften and melt.
05 - Spoon cranberry sauce over melted Brie and sprinkle with chopped rosemary.
06 - Drizzle honey and scatter toasted nuts on top, if using.
07 - Garnish with extra rosemary and freshly cracked black pepper if desired. Serve warm.
