03 - 1/4 cup milk, whole or 2%

05 - 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
06 - 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

09 - 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
10 - Pinch smoked paprika
# How to make it:
01 - Place the uncooked elbow macaroni and water into a microwave-safe mug (minimum 12 oz capacity) and stir to mix.
02 - Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes. Stir, then continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until pasta is al dente and most water is absorbed (about 4–5 minutes total). Monitor to prevent overflow.
03 - Incorporate milk, shredded cheddar, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Stir until thoroughly combined.
04 - Microwave for an additional 30–40 seconds until cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
05 - Stir again, season with salt and black pepper, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and smoked paprika if desired. Serve immediately.
