I have made this fudge countless times for potlucks and parties, and it always disappears fast. The microwave method makes it practically foolproof, and there are never leftovers to take home!

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Base: 3 cups (510 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup (55 g) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare Pan:
Line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Melt Chocolate:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
Microwave:
Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until melted and smooth (about 1.5–2 minutes total).
Add Flavorings:
Stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.
Mix in Marshmallows:
